Named to the TIME100 Climate List of the world’s most influential climate leaders, Adam Gardner is a musician and environmental innovator who has spent more than two decades driving climate action through the power of live music. Raised $22 million+ for environmental causes

Music Decarbonization Project
Through REVERB, Adam co-created the Music Decarbonization Project, an initiative fast-tracking innovative climate solutions to directly eliminate carbon solutions at their source. This effort has powered major stages at Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Portola, and Healing Appalachia with hybrid battery and solar systems, cutting diesel use by over 90%, avoiding thousands of gallons of fuel, and demonstrating a scalable path toward a fossil-free future for festivals. The project also released a first-of-it-kind Concert Travel Study in 2025, engaging 35,000 fans and charting strategies to reduce music’s largest carbon footprint—audience travel.

Adam has twice testified before Congress in support of environmental legislation, led delegations of musicians into the rainforests of Guatemala and Peru to witness the effects of illegal logging, and in 2019, REVERB was named the Official Music and Public Engagement Partner of the United Nations Environment Programme. A frequent voice in outlets such as Variety, TIME, and Pollstar, Adam continues to make the case that sustainable touring is both a cultural imperative and an economic opportunity.
